Cafe am Eichenkranz in Worlitz

Are you crazy? There was a piece of metal in the solyanka that the kitchen help must have lost there. Half of the solyanka had to be paid for, because half of it would have been eaten before the piece of metal was found. Insolence!

Ordered a cafe to go for Saturday afternoon. Then came the sober answer from the kitchen .... I don't have time for that! I beg your pardon? That woman is out of place there!

Very good selection of cakes and various dishes. There is also ice cream. Price performance OK. What bothered us was clearing the table while parts of our group were still eating, so only 4 stars.

Super friendly service, delicious sundae but maybe a bit expensive (my opinion). 😜

We only made a stop here for an ice cream "to go", so the review only refers to that. The staff was very friendly and the ice cream delicious and there was a large selection! At 1.40 per ball, not exactly cheap, but still within reasonable limits. It's just a shame that on a Friday, with the best weather, it is closed at 6 p.m. ...

Omg is it even more unfriendly? It will probably not work with good sales.

Value for money for warm food is not possible :( I got € 8 for two deep-frozen hash browns, an egg cup with carrot salad and a mini bowl with "Mediterranean" salad. I didn't get full. The € 6 for a camembert with cranberry sauce from my companion was far too much. Especially since the food is only convient. Clearly a tourist rip-off. No authentic cuisine. Only the lemonades were a change from Cola, Fanta, Sprite.

Nice outdoor area, fast and friendly service, ice cream sundaes and cakes were delicious, unfortunately we didn't like the coffee, quite expensive!

Despite my request, they were not ready to serve my wife a portion of french fries. Was offered as a children's portion at the next table and of course we would have paid a surcharge for the adult portion. My reference to a possible bad rating was completely negated by the waitress and dismissed with the words that she doesn't care. Summarized: Cafe with overpriced food Snippy staff Proved from its central location And cannot be recommended! A star for the squeaky clean toilet.

Except for long waiting times and high prices, I've been happy with the café so far. The view of the Wörlitz plant made up for it. All the more shocking and shameful was the service on the last visit. It was reserved by phone in good time and asked to set the reserved table a little festive for the occasion. This was assured. On the day of the event nothing was set up, unfriendly and incompetent service despite the almost empty place. Long waiting times, wrong cakes brought, waitress spilled coffee and put the half-full cup in front of us without bringing a replacement, but charged the full price for coffee and wrong cakes. The level has dropped a lot! I will not recommend it anymore! Can only confirm the bad reviews from some here. Gets worse every year, but prices rise.

Unfortunately, it was the most terrible visit to the café that we had as a small family. Our older child was very rudely asked by an employee to sit somewhere else while my husband ordered ice cream for us to take away. Unfortunately the situation with our child escalated and he bucked loudly. An employee of the café then grabbed my child to carry it off the premises. It couldn't be more insolent! To top it all, I was accused of poor upbringing. I can only recommend to all families to avoid this place. I would like to give 0 stars.

First wrong order, then ice cream sundae not even visually as shown on the card and then also poor value for money. And when you checkout you are asked, "How much?" This is the tip. I'm not going there again.

Lunch doesn't taste good, ready meals, small portions, overpriced. If you are used to home cooking, this "kitchen" is not suitable. Toilet use as a guest of this cafe 50 cents is not common. Because the guest pays for the use of the toilet when ordering.

Nice location, there is room for improvement in terms of taste, but adhere well to the current hygiene rules, a big compliment for that.

Very friendly service despite wearing the annoying face mask; We visited the coffee twice in one day, once at lunchtime, the second time in the afternoon. You really sat very well under the trees and umbrellas in wonderful weather. I would also like to highlight the Soljanka.

Visited the restaurant during a visit to the Wörlitzer Park. Beer garden and restaurant very inviting. Staff very friendly and helpful. The somewhat small menu is a pity. All dishes are freshly prepared but the portions are very small for the price. The prices are set a little higher. Nevertheless, it is recommended.

We were at Pentecost with a motorcycle group in the oak wreath for lunch, it was the only restaurant that wanted to cater for 27 people. We got a great place in the garden and were also immediately catered for. The tone of the waitress was a subtle command tone, but was no different in the park. Still friendly, the food was tasty and we would love to come back. Thanks a lot

Coffee, cake, hot food and ice cream, what more could you ask for? Quiet, great view of a huge pond, or sitting in the orchard, what more could you ask for? Owner led where the bosses with tackle. In addition, there are great wines from the region, Naumburg (Saale-Unstrut) Highly recommended here is of course the Naumburg Wine & Champagne Manufactory. This Cafe was okay with their food but the personnel were unfriendly and uncaring. Parking costs 3 € and the prices were high!

Food ok, but far overpriced for what you get. AWFUL coffee

A bit on the expensive side and unfortunately the milk in their coffee is only powder-based but the cakes are delicious, the staff is nice and the backyard ambience is just lovely, especially with kids.
